Roadblocks

I’m renaming this tag from weekly to update because I can’t trust myselft to post every week.

The homeNAS project didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped, had some OS specific issues that have been sorted out, and the SSH and Samba services are working (which I’ll post about soon™), the next step is configuring the dynamic DNS so I can access it reliably outside the LAN.

I wanted my next project to be hardware related, and had even bought the parts for it in March, but I’m physically separated from them due to the current world situation. So I’ve been thinking about software projects.
